Your postcode, on its own. Used only to check whether we cover you and whether you are in a hard water area. We keep it in your browser, not on our servers, unless you go on to give us more.
Your quote answers. Stored in your browser as you go. They only reach us if you ask us to email you the prices, or if you place an order.
Your name and email, if you ask us to hold your price for seven days. Used to send you that quote and nothing else. No newsletter, no list, no third parties.
Your full details, if you order: name, address, phone, email, and the photographs you send us. Used to do the job, to issue your certificate, to register your warranty with the manufacturer, and to keep the records that gas regulations require us to keep.
We do not sell your details. We do not pass them to other installers. We are not a comparison site or a lead generator, and nobody buys leads from us because we do not sell any.
The boiler manufacturer, to register your warranty. Gas Safe Register, because notifying your installation is a legal requirement. Our payment processor, if you pay online. That is the list.
Our brand addresses are handled by one central Nord Group team, so a reply may come from a different address to the one you wrote to. It is still us.
Quote-only enquiries: 12 months. Completed installations: 7 years, because gas installation records and our own warranty obligations require it.
We use Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager, both under Google Consent Mode. Nothing that identifies you is loaded until you agree, and you are asked the first time you arrive. You can decline and the site works exactly the same.
The cookie policy lists every single thing this site stores on your device, what each one is for and how long it lasts. You can change your answer at any time using Cookie settings at the bottom of any page.
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — except where gas regulations require us to keep installation records. Email hello@embernord.co.uk and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are not happy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
