Last updated 2026-09-01. The complete list, not a summary. It is a short list.
Before you answer the cookie banner, this site stores nothing at all on your device. No analytics, no advertising, no tracking of any kind. That is not a promise, it is how the page is built: everything is held back by Google Consent Mode until you say yes.
If you say no, one small record of that answer is kept so we stop asking. Nothing else is ever set, and every page, price and the quote tool itself work exactly the same.
You can change your mind whenever you like. Cookie settings at the bottom of every page reopens the choice.
One item, stored by us, in your browser's local storage rather than as a cookie.
There is no legitimate way to switch this one off, because the only alternative is to forget your refusal and ask you again on the next page.
If you accept analytics, we load Google Analytics 4, which sets these cookies in your browser:
We use this to see which pages people actually read and where they give up on the quote tool. We do not use it to build a profile of you, and we do not join it to anything you tell us later.
If you accept advertising, we load the Meta (Facebook) pixel, which sets these cookies in your browser:
We use this to see whether our advertising is worth the money, and to avoid showing adverts to people who have already been in touch. Google Ads is not configured on this site; if it ever is, its cookies will be named here before it is switched on.
Refusing advertising has no effect on anything you can see or do on this site. If you accept and later change your mind, use Cookie settings in the footer — withdrawing removes the cookies above, it does not just stop setting new ones.
The quote tool is worth spelling out because people assume the opposite. Your answers live in the page's memory while you are using it. They are not written to a cookie, they are not written to local storage, and they are not sent to us as you go. Close the tab and they are gone. Your answers only reach us at the point you ask us to email your price or you place an order — and at that point they are covered by the privacy policy, not by this one.
Two honest exceptions, because both are third-party requests even though neither is a cookie. Our typeface is served from Google Fonts, so loading a page asks Google's servers for the font file, and that request reaches Google before you have answered anything. And if you browse with JavaScript switched off, the page includes Google's no-script Tag Manager frame, which is requested without being able to ask you first — there is no banner to answer when scripts are off. Our tag container is empty, so that frame loads nothing and sets nothing. Neither exception stores anything on your device.
On this site: use Cookie settings in the footer of any page. If you turn something off that you had previously turned on, we delete the cookies it set and reload the page, rather than leaving them sitting there.
In your browser: every browser can block or delete cookies and clear site storage, usually under Settings, then Privacy. That works regardless of what we do, and it will also clear the record of your choice, so the banner will ask again.
Storing anything on your device that is not strictly necessary needs your consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, and the analytics and advertising data is personal data under the UK GDPR. Consent is the lawful basis for both. The necessary item above does not need consent, which is why it is not offered as a choice.
