All three Logic Max combis share one cabinet, which the drawings make obvious — moving up the range costs you output, not wall space.
A note on the kW number. On a combi, the kilowatt figure in the name is the hot water output — that is the industry convention and it is the bigger of the two numbers. The heating output, which is what actually feeds your radiators, is lower. Where the maker publishes both we have printed both. On a system boiler there is no hot water output at all, because the cylinder does that job, so the kW figure is the heating output.

Worth being clear about what the ten years is: it comes from pairing the Logic+ range with the Ideal System Filter, which Ideal supply in the box. It is not an extended warranty you buy. It is conditional on two things: the boiler and the filter being registered together within thirty days, which we do on the day, and the annual service that every manufacturer requires.
The 30kW Logic Max is the workhorse of the UK three-bed. Enough hot water for a bath and a shower, without paying premium-brand money.
This is the size most three-bedroom houses in our patch actually need. At 12.4 litres a minute it edges every other 30kW combi on this site, which is not a large margin but it is the right direction for no extra money.
For bigger homes on a value budget. 14.5 litres a minute is proper flow — you will notice it in a power shower.

The stainless steel heat exchanger is the engineering difference and the twelve years is the commercial one, but the quietness is the thing people report back about. If the boiler is in a kitchen cupboard next to where you eat, that is not a small consideration.

So which one? If the budget is genuinely firm, the Logic Max C24 is the cheapest boiler on this site and still carries ten years of parts and labour. For most three-bedroom houses the C30 is the right size and gives 12.4 litres a minute, which is the highest flow of any 30kW combi here. The C35 is for a bigger house or a power shower. Go to the Vogue Max only if the boiler lives somewhere you sit — the stainless exchanger and the twelve years are worth having, but the quietness is what you will actually notice.

Ideal's ten-year Logic Max warranty requires the boiler AND the supplied Ideal System Filter to be registered together within 30 days of installation, and an annual service by a Gas Safe engineer; miss the registration and the cover falls to twelve months. We do the registration on the day. Prices include VAT at 20%. Note also that on a combi the number in the name is hot water output: all three Logic Max combis share the same 24.2kW central heating output.

As with every manufacturer warranty on the market it is conditional on the boiler being serviced annually, which is the condition people most often fall foul of.
The kilowatt figure on a combi is its hot water output rather than its heating output, so a 35kW Logic Max is not putting 35kW into your radiators. It is why the sizing questions in our quote tool are about baths, showers and radiator count rather than about which model name you fancied.

It is a magnetic filter that catches the sludge and iron oxide circulating in your heating system before it reaches the boiler. Ideal supply it in the box with the Logic Max and the Vogue Max.
